A Visit from Mimi and Papaw

Being in the Northeast means that we don't see much of family.  Like, my Mom, Dad, Candy, Esther and Sariah, and Lula have never been able to get out here.  But my Mom is scheduled to come in two weeks and my Dad and Candy are slated for Thanksgiving.  I'm super excited! 

Michael's parents have been out twice - mostly because Walter works for an airline and get them tickets every so often.  So here's a recap of their summer visit in pictures.

 Michael and Papaw fixing the deck.  Some of the boards had rotted out and were actual holes.  We painted it and waterproofed it afterward.  Here's to hoping we don't have to do it again for 10 yrs!

  The kids were mesmerized by the deck work.  But they weren't allowed outside.

 Bekah's birthday party!

 Notice the Bed Bugs game?  I seriously debated about getting it now that I know bed bugs are real.  So disgusting!  But it was in the budget and few things were.  It's still a fun game - you just can't think about it too much as you play.

 The Papaw.  A fuzzy Papaw.  Somehow Mimi got missed in the picture arena.

 You can hardly see his face for the cake in front of it, but you can see a definite smile there!

 Bekah didn't feel well the night of the 4th of July, so this was the extent of their fireworks this year.  But judging by their faces, they didn't seem to mind too much.
