Halloween traditions

I should add that we had the missionaries over for dinner and one of them said, "Aw, pumpkins are supposed to be scary (as he looked at Rebekah's pumpkin covered in whales, fish and water)!" I just chuckled and replied, "You've obviously never been to the Hopkin house during Halloween". We often had things like the princess and the frog, christmas trees, initials, paper bags over the top with "oops" written on it, etc. Making it scary isn't the fun part - it the creativity and the stretching of the boundaries that makes carving pumpkins fun!
