Bit the Dust, But Being Dragged Along Anyway

Our couch has been through a lot.  We got it second hand in the first place 6 1/2 years ago and now it's been through the infancy and almost through the toddler hood of three children.  It's been kind, it's been smart, and it's been important to all in the household.  But it busted a seam early in December.

I was terribly worried about how our finances might have to handle the mishap.  But the autopsy revealed that it could be fixed - at least temporarily.  And so it is.  For now.  You can't even tell that it ever fell apart.  But the kids frequent jumping may tear it apart sooner than later.  So when we reviewed goals and items for future use at the end of this year, a new or recovered couch made the list for 2015, if this one makes it that long.
