It's 5 days past his six month mark. Time has really flown.
- He can't really sit up yet but he can get almost anywhere on the floor through a series of rolls and backward scoots.
- He has a very long tongue that is constantly poking out.
- Because his tongue is so long, he actually sucks on it instead of fingers or a binki. Gotta get a video of this one.
- VERY happy child. I've had so many comments about how happy he is. Lots of smiles for anyone who's willing to look at him. I hope this continues to be a characteristic for the rest of his life.
- He's started to realize who his family is. He giggles at Bekah and Patrick and they're starting to take notice. They repeat things over and over for him if they can get a laugh. It's pretty fun to watch.
- He is so excited when Daddy gets home from work! Legs start churning, mouth is split in a constant grin, and laughter is emitted from time to time - especially if Daddy is right above him.
- He's measuring very small for his age, but he's proportionate. About 5% for height and weight. I have a friend whose baby is 3 months younger and is the same size. Only difference between the two babies is their range of motion and mobility.
- He still loves being swaddled for naptime.
- His first word is da-da!
